What is Fantasy Springs?

Fantasy Springs is a fresh addition to Tokyo Disney Sea, which consists of multiple new attractions alongside entertainment and dining choices. The attraction draws inspiration from traditional Disney princesses, including Belle, Sleeping Beauty, and Rapunzel.

What’s in Fantasy Springs?

The Filigree Springs brings three new attractions to the delight of visitors. Guests can experience Peter Pan’s Flight while it drops under London before leading them to the Second Land.

The updated version of Small World offers visitors a modern interpretation of the timeless musical puppet show featuring world cultures. Visitors can enjoy an updated Jungle Cruise version, including modern animations and special visual effects.

The springs are renamed Fantasy Springs History:

In 2015, Tokyo Disney Sea announced plans to add a new “Scandinavia” port based on the 3D computer-animated musical film Frozen. However, this was shelved in favor of Tokyo Disneyland’s Fantasy land expansion, and the Frozen plans were to be redeveloped for a larger expansion project.

On June 14, 2018, Tokyo Disney Resort announced that the new port would include three sections themed around Peter Pan, Frozen, and Tangled, and a new hotel.

On October 27, 2022, The Oriental Land Company announced that the opening date of Fantasy Springs had been pushed back to spring 2024, later announced as June 6, 2024, “due to the increased construction time of the project due to production delays overseas, as well as restrictions on supply and border measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

It was announced that each area would be called Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Nederland, respectively. The new port will also feature a Disney hotel called Tokyo Disney Sea Fantasy Springs Hotel. (Source: Wikipedia )
